Empowering Safe Motherhood & Women's Health
Obstetrics & Gynaecological (OBG) Nursing, commonly known as Midwifery, is a specialized field dedicated to the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, as well as the management of women's reproductive health issues throughout their lifespan.
Our department emphasizes evidence-based midwifery practices and compassionate care. Students are meticulously trained in normal labor mechanics, identifying high-risk pregnancies, assisting in surgical deliveries, and providing essential newborn care to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and child.
Prepare students to provide comprehensive antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, reducing maternal and infant mortality rates.
Equip students with the clinical acumen to rapidly identify and manage obstetric emergencies and gynaecological disorders.
Our MCH lab is a highly specialized facility equipped with advanced birthing simulators, allowing students to practice various stages of normal and complicated labor. The lab provides a safe environment to learn essential midwifery skills.
